Terms and Conditions (Special Course)
Application:
Fill up the enclosed admission form in capital letters and kindly confirm your participation by sending the application form which should reach Srjan's office 30 days prior to your arrival. At the time of admission each student is to pay INR 2000/- (non refundable) towards admission fees plus one month’s tuition fees in advance as the security deposit at the time of registration.
The application should be accompanied with:
1. Resume.
2. Two recent passport size colour photographs.
3. Photographs and/or video recording of your earlier performances, if any.
4. Published papers/articles if any.
5. Press reviews if any.
6. Photocopy of the Voter ID, Driving License/ Adhar Card. Copy of Passport & visa page for foreign student.
Special Course Fee
1. Slot-A: INR 15,000/- for 1 to 15 days.
2. Slot-B: INR 25,000/- for more than 15 days up to 30 days.
3. Slot-C: INR 5,000/- for 4 days of special class per month.
4. The counting of days begins upon joining.
5. Students who attend classes for any part of the specified slots must pay the entire course fees..
6. Course fees must be paid upon registration.
7. Please note that all fees listed above are subject to an additional 18% tax (GST). .
8. Foreign students must hold a valid student visa to participate in Odissi dance classes at Srjan.
9. For any necessary field studies, students must obtain consent from the Director of Srjan or their authorized representative.
Class Timings:
1. The supervised learning time will be 90 minutes and if required may extend up to 120 minutes per day for Slot A & B.
2. There will be classes for five days a week for Slot A & B.
3. 90 minutes each class for Slot-C.
Accommodation:
1. The hostel rent will be INR 1500/- per day excluding the course fees.
2. Students will be required to share accommodation for the purposes of better interaction; hence, individual accommodation is not encouraged.
3. Students/participants who opt to stay in Srjan's hostel throughout the duration of the course, need to mention the relevant dates in the application form. This is subject to space available in the hostel at that time.
Belongings:
Students are requested to keep their valuables, like gold ornaments, cash, watches, passports, necessary documents, etc in their own custody. Srjan (GKCM Odissi Nrityabasa) will not be responsible for any loss.
Others:
1. All issues (if any) must be reported only to the Director, Srjan or the Director’s authorized nominee.
2. The students cannot change the teacher or place of stay without the prior & written approval of the Director, Srjan or the Director’s authorized nominee.
3. The students must come back to their place of stay not later than 09.30 pm.
4. The students must report for classes punctually. Any delay in reporting for class, the student will not being allowed to attend the particular session or even the full day’s session.
5. The foreign student with student visa must register with Deputy Commissioner of Police/Foreigners Registering Officer at Bhubaneswar within 14 days of his/her arrival if it is asked for in the visa.
6. For security reasons the foreign student with a student visa must seek permission through an application from the Director Srjan before leaving the city for traveling within India. The complete travel itinerary with photocopy of original train/flight ticket should be enclosed with the application.
7. 8. The student who is keen to purchase any recorded music for particular dance items will be required to pay INR 2000/- per each item.
9. For reasons of maintaining continuity of teaching methodology, and for any future ready reference (which will be stored permanently in archives of Srjan) the director of Srjan will set in place a system of comprehensive video recording of any or all teaching sessions and any public or private performances within or without the ambit of Srjan. For any such performance given by the student Srjan Director’s consent is obligatory. Similarly Srjan will make arrangements to videograph any formal interview of the student conducted by this institution.
10. All legal proceedings will be restricted to Bhubaneswar jurisdiction.
11. Srjan's decision in all matters will be final and binding on all students.
12. Fee structure and course content are not negotiable.
